Domstolsstyrelsen – Scanning of dossiers, microfilm and very old books with register of mortgages .
Dansk Scanning A/S was in 2010 finishing the largest digitization task in Scandinavia offered by Domstolsstyrelsen. The task was about digitizing the Register of Mortgages, consisting of 60 million old and complex documents.
The project was divided into four different subtasks, where Dansk Scanning A/S was responsible for 3 out of 4 tasks - managing IT solution, scanning prenuptial copies and scanning of all books which contains the register og morgages.
In addition, scanning the land registration documents shared between four other suppliers and Dansk Scanning A/S. Besides scanning Dansk Scanning A/S also handled the interconnection of data from the five suppliers to create a joint submission. The tasks included OCR on all documents to ensure a high usability of the entire archive in its digital form.
Geodatastyrelsen – Scanning of cadastral cases and journal folders.
Dansk Scanning A/S finished last in 2013 two major tasks for Geodatastyrelsen, consisting of a total of 3.500 linear meters cadastral cases. The tasks was to scan all cadastral material. Including a variety of documents and cases and journal folders, where Dansk Scanning A/S in one case was the exclusive supplier and in the other main supplier.
For both tasks, the material were highly variable in the shape, while much of the material was water damage. This meant that a time-consuming process was needed to protect the material. The task was therefore challenging and required new thinking and innovation to ensure a solution in the best possible quality.
