Data storage - hosting
Many customers already use WebLager® management of their building project archive and there is no limitation in terms of capacity and operation of the solution. The solution is available by the internet and can be accessed 24 hours a day.
Data is hosted by Danish Scanning in Esbjerg, which saves the customer's IT department for a considerable amount of work.
Danish Scanning works on the ISO 27001 standard for information security, based on a risk assessment continuously being expanded:
There are backup solutions of all data to ensure against data loss. We keep two versions of the archives running, one at our hosting center in Esbjerg with enough bandwidth to serve you, and in addition we have a backup center lying 18 km away, which contains backup of WebLager® and all your data regularly will be updated.
We are proud to have a very high runtime at WebLager® and we had in 2014, a runtime of 99.93%. There are regularly made statistics on our runtime - customers can easily access these statistics.
Expected response time is more than 5 seconds from every search performed on the result presented to the user. This is ensured that there is always 3 active servers in our balance-manager to handle the many users. The servers are monitored by PRTG and on error there is an additional 3 servers available as a fallback.
PRTG is a monitoring system that monitors the servers for WebLager®. They test at least once every minute to log in to WebLager® if there are errors or too long response time then it will be reported to the system administrator at Dansk Scanning A/S. PRTG also measure whether the database works optimally, response time and how long it takes to download the page.
Updates and care are always made at times when there is so little traffic as possible.
If malfunctions occur during the period 8pm - 4am, then there is applied a text on the front of WebLager® where this is apparent. If malfunctions occur beyond 10 minutes, there will also be sent an e-mail to all administrators through our mail system. Maintenance of the solution causes downtime outside normal working hours will be notified minimum 1 week in advance through our newsletter system.
